PhD and Postdoc Symposium

Call for Presentations

The IJCKG 2025 PhD and Postdoc Symposium is a vibrant and supportive forum for early-career researchers (PhD students and postdoctoral researchers) to present their research, exchange ideas, and receive constructive feedback from peers and senior researchers in the Knowledge Graphs community.

Aim and Scope
The IJCKG 2025 PhD and Postdoc Symposium aims to:

  • Offer early-career researchers an opportunity to present their research in a friendly environment.
  • Facilitate feedback and discussion on ongoing work.
  • Promote networking among early-career researchers and established experts.
  • Foster collaboration and mentorship within the Knowledge Graphs community.

We welcome submissions from doctoral students at any stage of their PhD, whether they are defining their research questions or are close to completing their dissertation.

We encourage submissions covering, but not limited to, one or more of the topics foreseen by the research track of the IJCKG 2025 conference.

Submission Guidelines
Each submission should include:

  • A 2-page extended abstract describing the PhD research, including the problem addressed, related work, methodology, current progress, and future plans.
  • A 1-page brief biography of the student, including affiliation.
Submissions must be written in English and formatted according to the Springer's Instructions for Authors of Proceedings.
Submissions must be uploaded to EasyChair at: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ijckg2025 (choose the “PhD and Postdoc Symposium” track).
