Call for Tutorials

The 14th International Joint Conference on Knowledge Graphs (IJCKG 2025) invites proposals for tutorials to be held in conjunction with the main conference in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, from October 15 to 17, 2025. IJCKG serves as a premier international forum for researchers and practitioners in the field of knowledge graphs.

Objectives
Tutorials at IJCKG 2025 aim to:

  • Introduce newcomers to major topics within knowledge graphs
  • Provide insights into emerging areas and applications
  • Offer hands-on experiences with tools and methodologies
  • Foster discussions on challenges and future directions in the field

Topics of Interest
We welcome tutorial proposals on the conference's topics including but not limited to:

  • Knowledge Graphs and Large Language Models
  • Knowledge graph construction and integration
  • Ontology modelling and evolution
  • Graph databases and query languages
  • Machine learning on graphs
  • Knowledge representation and reasoning
  • Knowledge Retrieval and Information Retrieval
  • Applications of knowledge graphs in various domains

Submission Guidelines
Tutorial proposals, up to 2 pages, should be submitted in PDF format and include the following information:

  1. Title: A concise title for the tutorial
  2. Presenters: Names, affiliations, and short biographies of the presenters
  3. Abstract: A 300-word summary suitable for the conference website
  4. Description: Detailed outline of the tutorial content, objectives and relevance to IJCKG 2025 attendees
  5. Target Audience: Intended audience and prerequisite knowledge
  6. Duration: Preferred length (e.g. 1.5 or 3 hours)
  7. Previous Offerrings: Information on where and when the tutorial has been presented before (if applicable)
  8. Technical Requirements: Any special equipment or setup needed

Important Dates

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: July 1, 2025 July 24, 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: July 15, 2025  August 7, 2025
  • Tutorial Description ready for Publication at the Website: July 20, 2025 August 14, 2025
  • Tutorial Date: October 15-17, 2025 (exact day to be announced)
