Title: Knowledge Graphs in the Neurosymbolic AI Age

Pascal Hitzler is Professor and endowed Lloyd T. Smith Creativity in Engineering Chair at the Department of Computer Science at Kansas State University, one of the Directors of the Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics (ID3A), and Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (CAIDS). His research record lists over 400 publications in such diverse areas as neuro-symbolic artificial intelligence, semantic web, knowledge graphs, knowledge representation and reasoning, denotational semantics, and set-theoretic topology. He was founding Editor-in-chief of the Semantic Web journal, the leading journal in the field, and is founding Editor-in-chief of the new Neurosymbolic Artificial Intelligence journal, and of the IOS Press book series Studies on the Semantic Web. He is co-author of the W3C Recommendation OWL 2 Primer, and of the book Foundations of Semantic Web Technologies by CRC Press, 2010, which was named as one out of seven Outstanding Academic Titles 2010 in Information and Computer Science by the American Library Association's Choice Magazine, and has translations into German and Chinese. Katja Hose

Katja Hose is a full professor at TU Wien's Databases and Artificial Intelligence research unit. She had prior positions at Aalborg University, the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, and received her PhD from Ilmenau University of Technology. Her research is rooted in data management and knowledge engineering and focuses on various aspects of graph databases, knowledge graphs, data integration, and applied machine learning. She has co-authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications and regularly serves as a reviewer for a broad range of conferences incl. TheWebConf/WWW, VLDB, SIGMOD, EDBT, ISWC, ESWC, etc. She is an editorial board member of the VLDB Journal and SWJ as well as an associate editor for TGDK. She has served in many different organizational roles for international conferences, such as VLDB, SIGMOD, EDBT, TheWebConf/WWW, ISWC, and ESWC incl. program co-chair roles for ISWC 2024, EDBT 2023, and ESWC 2021.

Kang Liu

Title: Shuttle between Symbolic Knowledge and Neural Parameters

Kang Liu is a full professor at Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also a youth scientist of Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence and a professor of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include Knowledge Graphs, Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models. He has published over 80 research papers in AI conferences and journals, like ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, COLING, TKDE, et al. His work has over 26,000 citations on Google Scholar. He received the Best Paper Award at COLING-2014, Best Poster&Demo Paper Award at ISWC-2023, and Best Paper Award at NeusymBridge Workshop of COLING-2025.
